With great coaching anything is possible. The Steelers do not have great or even good coaching starting at the top. Mike Tomlin will take 60% of the regular season to figure out what needs to be done just like he does every year. Fast starts are not within Mike Tomlin's capability. Playoffs are out of the question, just like every year under Mike Tomlin.

I know it's the first week of July and no one in the NFL are in the office or any where to be found. But it's now July and what's insane is July typically goes by fast... Like the summer as a whole. But we get preseason the beginning of August the 11th i believe. But that means Football season is just about here. So im looking forward to seeing what our Steelers can and will do this year. Last season I was hyped for every game like i was with 2022. Hoping KP would ball out. But my excitement never not show up. Regardless of the dumpster fire we all watched. I was just excited to see my team play, and this year im more excited to see them. I know im a nostalgic person so i will keep going back to the Big Ben days and the 2 seasons with KP and the games he won like Christmas Eve in 2022.And how Rudolph "saved Christmas". Which is a game i keep going back to watch. It was a good game and awesome Rudolph got his time to shine. I hope it continues for him, i truly do. But 2024 season is here and we now have a very capable QB room, new draft picks that fills some holes (we all are hoping that they play up to what we drafted them for). The pick ups we got in FA... Im mean we got P. Queen, that's huge... About time he's in the Black and Gold. And it's awesome seeing him and Russ embrace the city of Pittsburgh with nothing but love. I think we should bring Pat P back as a depth piece at least. But he would make a great coach. His time playing is done, but that doesn't mean we can't have him and his energy in the building. But to some up what im saying here is.... LET'S GO STEELERS!!! I don't see why there is any reason NOT to be hyped for this season.

5-1 in the north with a banged up D and no OC or QB last year and we should have beat Cleveland the second time but lack of a real offense stop that, so I don’t understand the concern with the north. Will it be tough? of course it’s the north but we run the north. We should get out to a hot start because that’s what good teams do and we inspire to be a good team.

New QB, new coordinator, new offense scheme. It is uncertainty how all that significant changes are working out, so it is not the time to make big financial commitments. I'am convinced until the bye week the sky will be cleared and I'am prepared that during the bye week eventual some massive trades and/or extensions will happen despite the Steelers habit not to negotiate during the season.

Im not one to blame Russ' wins to his fantastic defenses hes played in front of, but his only "hot starts" have been with heavy turnover ratio games which gives him some breathing room.

I've been Steelers fan since 71. Since Russell Wilson was a quarterback second team of choice has been the Seattle Seahawks. I've since learned that both Roethlisberger and Wilson if they don't have optimum coaching and complementary players they don't play as good. I believe we get back to what Russell Wilson did with Seattle back in the day we can have a eight-one in the first nine games! Why do I say that? Because we have a defense that gives opposition the smack down, we go above and beyond on our defense, and Russell Wilson is not afraid to throw the long ball, we need that kind of style from our quarterback and Russell Wilson has the courage and confident to take us into high scoring games against our opponents. Our coach will bring the run in and that will be the foundation that rolls over our opponents as well. I've been saying since I've seen what we're getting and it just keeps getting better, I believe we're gonna be in the Super Bowl this year and will probably win. Our record? Only three losses for the whole season.

This is the deepest high-quality LB group since the late 2000's for sure, great comp Chris. Elandon Roberts is like a glue for the ILB's after taking a leadership role in 23 and performing at a high level. Roberts plays a cerebral style of Buck LB and should compliment PQ well. PQ was the perfect FA addition and money well spent. Watt's the best in the world at OLB and Highsmith cracks the top10 best list. Herbig and Wilson off the bench makes this one of the deepest and exciting LB groups ever.

Bijan Robinson wasn't used to much early in the season because he was a rookie and Arthur Smith said he was protecting Jim afraid to overuse him

I expect this team to do nothing, until Tomlin retires. It has been a slow and steady death with his “cool dude” thinking at the helm. Also, you look like the dude from Wall-E 😂

I hope he has the ability to properly evaluate QB's because Mediocre Mike obviously has no idea what does or does not make for a great QB. Thank fucking God he wasn't our HC when the Steelers drafted Bradshaw. If he was he would have run him out of town within 2 seasons. I've been a diehard fan of this team since 1971 when I was 5 and I started playing football. Our team colors were Black and Gold so that, along with the way they played made it easy to become a fan. In all of my 53 years of fandom I have only felt this way about either of our 3 Head Coaches once before and that was in 1986 when it was clear that the game had passed Chuck Noll by. 38 years without feeling as I do now but to me this is worse. Tomlin has got to go!!! The game has either passed him by or he never was a great coach which is really what I believe. He's an awesome defensive coach and should definitely be in the league as a coordinator or if he wants to be a HC then let him go and do it elsewhere.
